How to protect your child from sexual abuse?
Sexual abuse can happen to any child anywhere in the world. If you can’t protect your child from it, there are always steps to reduce it:
-Be involved and available in your child’s life, and always let him feel comfortable talking to you.
-Be familiar with your child’s environment. Know who your child is spending most of his time with (friends, families, teachers).
-Show interest in your child’s day by day lives. Talk to him and ask him details about how he spent his day.
-Teach your child the correct name of his body parts, so he can express himself clearly and correctly if something wrong occurs.
-Teach your child about a good/bad touch.
-Empower them to say NO.
