How to know if your child is gifted?
Gifted children:
– Have advanced and sophisticated language skills, high vocabulary and the ability to learn words quickly and easily.
– Can learn reading very early; sometimes even before starting school
– Are very curious and keep on asking questions about everything they see and hear.
– Have the ability to be multitasked and to understand multi-step directions.
– Have excellent memory.
– Have early development skills and they seem to be advanced in fine-motor activities. (logos, puzzles…)
Some children can be gifted in one area (verbal or cognitive) and some tests can be used to identify their strengths.
