The ability to dress yourself builds confidence, independence, and a sense of achievement. When your child knows how to put his shoes on, mommy you will have one less thing to do in the morning!

Getting dressed helps kids developing motor and cognitive skills.

When you want them to learn, better choose:

-Easy clothes, loose and elastic pants with no buttons/zippers.

-Give him enough time to try over and over again.

-Practice getting dressed with your child when you’re not in a hurry or tired.

Getting dressed skills differs from a child to another, if your child is having troubles give him a chance to work it out alone, if not you can help him.
